This might be my last post in a while since I am getting married in little more than 2 days and I still have to work out a speech and figure out how to do a waltz…or a 2 step…or a mix of the two.

I just received some film back from the lab. I take occasional personal pictures with an old Yashica that my sister handed down to me. Every time I see the results its a roaring moment and I’m tempted to switch to film for good. These were taken mostly at birthday parties.

They had an awesome wedding day in California (we saw the video…Austin, you were incredible!) but Ruan is a full blooded South African and they just had to have a reception in Joburg to celebrate his wife with his local family and friends, of which I am honoured to be a part of. Matt Floreen covered their wedding in Cali in awesome style, here is a link to Ruan and Melissa I
Ruan asked me to document their South African reception and I was all too happy to help them out in this regard. They are a seriously fun couple and even braved the jumping castle in their full wedding attire…but it cost Melissa a button or two in really hard to reach places (did you ever find that button?).
