I was pretty pumped up for this wedding as the first one of the new season. At our initial meeting it became clear pretty quickly that Bianca and I were very much on the same page with regards to the kind of photos we like. She pointed out images in my portfolio that got me extremely excited. Black and white candid moments that you could never pose or set up. Taking these images is a matter of being at the right place at the right time with the right mindset and ability to see and anticipate.
The wedding certainly didn’t disappoint, and the early August rain was as welcome as it was puzzling and complemented the ceremony perfectly, adding authentically to the deep forest like feel of the chapel. Thankfully it cleared up pretty quickly at the right time and we could get a couple of portraits outside in the gardens. Perfect.
