This is one of those weddings that has been sitting in a folder on my desktop for a while now. I’m sharing this while busy editing a whole bunch of other weddings. I just don’t have time to sort through them right now to make into a proper blog post.
This was my first time for an elopement at a Lion Sands lodge specifically, but the tigerfish in the pond by the reception area had me hooked! I have never seen that before. It’s a beautiful nod to the wildlife available to be experienced apart from the usual big five.
As for the wedding, the ceremony was both fun and beautiful, and the setting on the deck under the old natal mahogany was just stunning. It’s a truly wonderful location to get hitched at.
I am thrilled to be back at a Lion Sands lodge coming winter for another wedding, so watch this space!
